Terms of Service

These terms govern how buyers and sellers use Ventril and how escrow, disputes, fees, and account enforcement are handled.

Escrow Rules

Buyer payments are held in escrow and are scheduled for release two hours after the event ends, provided there is no unresolved dispute on the transaction.

Ventril may delay or suspend escrow release where fraud, ticket validity issues, payout failures, or compliance concerns are detected.

Dispute Window

A buyer must raise any dispute within the post-event dispute window, which closes two hours after the event. If no dispute is raised before the window closes, the buyer loses the right to challenge that transaction through Ventril.

Disputes must include evidence. Ventril may reject incomplete, abusive, or fraudulent claims.

Prohibited Listings

Sellers must not list fake tickets, duplicate tickets, already-used tickets, or tickets priced more than 50% above the original face value. Ventril may remove prohibited listings without notice.

Listings may also be removed where event details, receipts, or ticket files appear misleading, unverifiable, or inconsistent.

Fees

Ventril charges a 10% platform fee on each resale. Sellers can choose whether that 10% is added on top for the buyer or deducted from the seller's payout at listing time.

Where an organizer is claimed on Ventril, 5% of the fee allocation may be routed to the organizer and Ventril retains the remaining share.

Account Suspension

Ventril may suspend or permanently disable accounts involved in fraud, abusive behavior, fake listings, off-platform deal steering, repeat disputes, chargebacks, or policy breaches.

Suspended users may lose access to listings, payouts, messaging, and future use of the marketplace.
